Pet Pawtraits

A creative & unique way to display photos of your beloved fur babies… within their own paw print 🐾

These can be personalised with your own message or just their name if you prefer. The paw prints will be true to size (unless you have a teeny tiny pet & would like the print bigger so you can see the image better)

Below are some tips of how to get the prints but I am here & willing to help or advise where I can.

I have used my little Rudi’s paw print 🐾 to make him a little memorial plaque 💔 he sadly passed away last week. Give your little loves an extra hug tonight (& every night, they’re so precious 🥰)

How to get your dogs paw prints;

Taking your dog’s paw prints yourself can be a fun DIY project and bonding experience. There are several ways to do it.
First things first: make sure your dog’s paws are clean. A quick wipe-down with a moist towel should be all that is necessary. Don’t do anything if your dog’s feet are injured or cut. This could exacerbate the issue.
If you’re going to be using paints, make sure the paints are child safe. Anything that is easy to clean will also be helpful down the road. You want to use non-toxic products that are safe for your pooch.

Washable body paints or finger paints;
These methods will likely work best and won’t cost too much. Tempera or water-based paints are also good as they tend to be non-toxic. From there, just dip your dog’s paw in the paint, then gently press it onto a sturdy paper for a couple of seconds. Lift the paw straight up and wash it. You may wish to take more than one print to make sure you get a good one but I can clean up any smudges or small indiscretions so don’t worry about them being perfect.

I created this for my partner for his birthday and we love it so much ❤️ it’s such a lovely keepsake & a beautiful way to display those handprints us parents have laying around.

I have decided to offer this as a service. Would you buy this as a gift for a loved one or a close friend with a family of their own?
I am also going to create one with a paw print 🐾 for my little doggy that just passed away 💔 so this is also available to us dog/cat/animal parents too. Give the page a like/follow for updates on this.

I thought this was worth sharing;

A lot of people drowned simply because they didn't know:
If you find yourself underwater in a car, don't panic...

▪️1. Dont waste your energy trying to push the door
▪️2. Do not open the window, the force of the water entering the car will not allow you to get out
▪️3. Take out the head restraint
▪️4. Use the steel sharp tip and break the back window that has kick out glass on it
▶️ The car by engineering and design is intended to float in the water and the rear window will always be facing the exit.
This could save your life!

This cat was everything I love about them 🐈 He/she crashed my mini shoot today, demanded my undivided attention, posed like a pro but then decided that was quite enough of the niceties & it was now time to savage me 😈 & stalked me when I tried to leave him/her alone 🤷🏼‍♀️

People watching would’ve been laughing so much at me… I had my camera between the cat & my legs in an attempt to leave with all my limbs 🤣

ONE OF THE BEST FOODS TO SLOW DOG AGING...AND HOW TO FEED IT!🍃🐶

Folate is an essential B vitamin💊 found in food. It helps with the production of DNA and without folate new, healthy DNA cannot be created. Cell biologist and longevity researcher Rhonda Patrick, PhD, maintains that “a deficiency in folate is equivalent to standing under ionizing radiation due to the DNA damage it causes.” And DNA🧬 damage is a BIG contributor to aging.

More recently, folate has also been shown to play a role in protecting telomeres, those important structures at the end of chromosomes that are shortened with age and lifestyle choices; shorter telomeres are associated with shorter lifespan and higher incidence of disease. Being highly heat-sensitive🔥, folate is one of the first nutrients to be inactivated in processed pet food.

How to prepare spinach🍃 for you and your dog?
Scientists say the best way to consume spinach for maximum lutein intake may be puréed. That’s because when spinach is chopped into small pieces, more lutein is released from the leaves. Older research found that cooking also impacts the folate content of spinach; boiling slashed this B vitamin level by nearly half. Steaming, however, resulted in no significant loss of folate! Cooking also diminishes the vitamin E levels in spinach (and reduces oxalates, if you want to reduce oxalate consumption) but actually increases the amount of beta carotene. So it can be served cooked or raw.

INGREDIENTS-
* 5 ounces of fresh or steamed spinach🍃 (preferably organic)
* 2/3 cup of water (even better, try bone🦴, beef🐮 or chicken🐔 broth, preferably organic)

INSTRUCTIONS-
* Add spinach and water (or broth) in a blender and puree. If the mixture seems too thick, add in extra broth.🍵
* Pour the puree into ice cube trays and freeze until solid.🧊
* Store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Add 1 ice cube🧊 per 30lbs of body weight🐕 a day to your dog’s meal.
