Some weddings just have a feeling about them.

The kind where everyone arrives ready to celebrate, the energy never drops, and every part of the day feels completely true to the couple.

That was Chloe and Bam.

The morning was full of laughter, the outfits were incredible, the ceremony was full of happy tears... and then, halfway through, the rain arrived.

Not just a few drops either. It absolutely poured.

Luckily we’d planned ahead. Before the wedding I’d suggested buying clear umbrellas for the wedding party, just in case. They stayed present, carried on laughing, and instead of hiding from the weather we embraced it.

Those are now some of my favourite images from the day.

Because that’s the thing about weddings. The moments you’ll remember most are rarely the ones that go exactly to plan. They’re the ones where everyone simply rolls with it and carries on making memories.

Then, as if the day couldn’t get any better, they absolutely tore up the dance floor. From the first song until the last, there wasn’t a quiet moment.

It was joyful, chaotic, emotional and unapologetically them.

Exactly how a wedding should feel. 🤍

One of my favourite weddings ever had almost nothing “extra”.

No packed timeline.

No rushing between locations.

No endless list of things to squeeze in.

Just two people who were genuinely excited to get married and a day that gave them space to enjoy it.

I remember watching them during drinks reception. They weren’t being pulled in ten different directions. They weren’t checking what was happening next. They were laughing with friends, hugging family and actually experiencing their wedding day while it was happening.

And that’s something I’ve noticed after photographing hundreds of weddings.

The photos people treasure most years later are rarely the ones that happened because everything went perfectly to plan.

They’re the ones that happened because there was room for real moments to unfold.

A hug from a grandparent.

A look across the room during speeches.

Five quiet minutes together after the ceremony.

When you’re planning your wedding it’s so easy to keep adding things because they sound fun, look beautiful on Instagram, or because everyone else seems to be doing them.

But sometimes the best thing you can do is protect a little space in your day.

Space to breathe.

Space to be present.

Space to remember what you’re actually there for.

Here’s to 31 years on this planet 🤍

31 years of adventures, lessons, laughter, growth, mistakes, dreams, and memories I’ll carry forever.

This year has reminded me more than ever that life isn’t measured by the big milestones. It’s measured by the quiet moments. The walks with the dogs. Time spent with people you love. Watching a sunset. A good conversation. A photograph that takes you straight back to a moment you thought you’d forgotten.

I’ve learnt that life can change in an instant, which makes every ordinary day feel a little more extraordinary.

So here’s to another year of exploring new places, chasing sunsets, photographing beautiful stories, spending time in nature, travelling to Africa, learning, growing, and making the most of this one wild and precious life.

Feeling very grateful today 🤍

31, let’s see what you’ve got.

P.S thanks to for sharing her new single on my birthday, it’s like you knew!

Waking up to messages like these the morning after a wedding honestly never gets old 🤍

Keeva & Jordan’s wedding at Primrose Hill Farm was full of the best kind of energy. The girls around Keeva were incredible. Calm when the nerves kicked in, hyping her up all morning, fixing dresses, making everyone laugh and fully bringing the party from the very start of the day.

These are the kind of bridesmaids every bride deserves around them 🥹

Your wedding photos are shaped by so much more than how things looked. They’re shaped by how the day felt and by the people surrounding you through it all.

One of the best parts of my job is hearing couples say they felt comfortable, relaxed and fully themselves in front of the camera 🤍
