You get to an age where you realise you probably can’t fully have both.

One version of richness looks like more security, more holidays, a bigger house, paying the mortgage off quicker and all the lovely things that come with it.

The other looks more like time.Doing something you genuinely love while still being there for school runs, slow mornings and the little moments in between.

Neither is better than the other. Both come with compromise.You just have to choose what feels right for you.

And I’ve come to realise mine will probably never be the material kind of richness…but I’m here for it 🤍

VOL. 02 🎞️

CASTING CALL

Every year I collect creative ideas and build a very artistic project around them and this summer’s concept might be the most ambitious one yet.

I’m looking for 3 families to take part in a new creative portrait series based in Surrey, UK.

This project will be a blend between photography and art with me creatively directing the entire shoot. Think unusual, bold, editorial style portraits with a cinematic feel. The focus will be on personality, movement, styling, atmosphere and creating images that feel more like artwork than traditional portraits.

This is very much a full artistic project rather than “pretty pictures”, so I’m looking for families who are excited to trust the vision and are happy for me to take full creative direction with the shoot.

I’m looking for kids who are comfortable being directed in a fun, relaxed way and are happy to explore, move, play along and fully immerse themselves in the experience.

WHO I’M LOOKING FOR:

• Families with up to 3 children
• Kids aged roughly 4–12
• Confident personalities or kids happy to engage with direction
• No modelling experience needed
• You need to be happy for the images to be shared on social media, website etc.

(When I say families, parents won’t be photographed. Your main role will be transport, moral support and supplying snacks 😌)

The shoots will take place between June–August and dates will be arranged once casting is complete.

• A fully styled creative shoot
• 5 edited high resolution images
• 1 framed print
• £75 participation fee
