I'm excited to announce a big milestone (for me) I’ve officially passed my Level 1 British Sign Language course!

This has been such a meaningful journey, one I’m sharing with my partner, Annabelle McNally as we learn BSL together.

I’m honoured to be able to support her sign language transition, and having us both able to communicate in sign makes such a practical difference. It really helps in situations where lip reading becomes difficult: low light, busy crowded spaces, or anywhere there’s lots of background noise and chatter.

Beyond our personal lives, I’m also incredibly proud that Legend Photography is beginning to be able to communicate in sign. It’s a small but important step toward making our work more accessible, comfortable, and inclusive for everyone in the Deaf community.

This is just the start of our learning, but I’m so glad to be building better ways to connect.
