Hi all, sorry for my silence for the last week or so I was in north Norfolk at a pop-up shop selling my images of wildlife and landscapes. You will be pleased to know that I did take my camera and got some shots of birds whilst I was away.

Its a busy time for me, in a couple of days my friend, Sue Jones www.suejonesphotography.net, and I will be setting up a week long pop up shop at Burnham Deepdale, PE31 8FB, together we are called Twin Lens Gallery. It would be great if you are in North Norfolk if you came and stopped by to say hello.

If you can't make that I am also doing maker markets at RSPB Minsmere on the 1st Sunday of each month from June until October.

(Well spotted if you see that I should be at Dalegate Market and RSPB Minsmere on Sunday 7th June. I am leaving poor Sue to man the pop up shop on her own! Thank you Sue!)

We will have lots to sell with a variety of products: mounted images, framed images, fridge magnets, coasters and of course jigsaws!

This little female Pied Wagtail was sitting on a picnic bench on Skomer Island and she stayed still long enough for me to look at her markings closely. What a little beauty she is! Funnily enough we have a pair visiting our garden frequently, we think they might have a nest nearby as well so we might get some fledglings visit soon. 🤞

These 2 images were from Wales, I decided to break the road trip up and stretch my legs so I walked up a hill to Neath Waterfall and the second is a lane very near Carew Castle. I just loved the light in both images. The dappled glade of the waterfall and the warmth of the setting sun on the country lane and hedgerow.

Another 2 from Skomer. This puffin was doing some preening and sorting out their feathers.
There are quite a few ticks around the corner of its beak. Most are looking quite big so will probably drop off very soon.
