The kind of couple who make you feel like part of the day rather than just the person behind the camera. Kind, relaxed, completely in love… and very easy to photograph.

A little preview from these two's pre-wedding shoot... although technically this was their legal paperwork day ✨

Tomorrow is the big celebration with all of their family and friends, led by a celebrant, but this day was all about signing the paperwork and taking a moment to soak it all in together.

I have to admit, celebrant-led weddings will always have a special place in my heart. They give you so much freedom to create a ceremony that actually feels like you, wherever and however you choose to celebrate. (Maybe I'm a little biased... it's exactly what my husband and I did!)

Back in February, Megan sent me an email that honestly stopped me in my tracks.

Three months after their wedding, they were left heartbroken by their experience with their original photographer and without the photos they had hoped for.

Rather than trying to 'redo' their wedding photos. I suggested we make this shoot it's own special occasion instead... So that's exactly what we did.

We started the day at the most beautiful home owned by their friends (The kind of place that looks straight from House Beautiful magazine, but with even more personality). Megan got back into her dress, we captured some relaxed prep moments and the two of them sharing a quiet toast together.

Then we headed to .grange to meet family for confetti, group photos and the loveliest afternoon tea (including a special one for the dogs 🐕) and some more couple photos.

It was such a privilege to spend the day with these two and create memories that actually felt like a celebration of them and their marriage.

A reminder that photographs really do matter. Not because everything has to be perfect, but because these moments deserve to be remembered well ✨

Golden hour, an evening stroll, and wedding week finally here ✨️

We spent the evening making the most of the softest light and a slow wander together. No heavy posing, nothing overdone.
