If I could only keep three surfboards, these are the ones staying.

Every board in a quiver should earn its place, and these three all do something a little different.

The Skindog would normally be part of the conversation, but unfortunately it’s still in two pieces…

What’s the one board you’d never sell?

The trick isn’t waiting for perfect conditions.

It’s going out often enough that you’re there when a wave like this appears.

One clean runner.
One good section.
One moment where everything lines up.

That’s usually enough.

One of the reasons people keep checking Summerleaze on a high tide.

When the swell is big and the forecast looks average, there’s often still a wave or two hiding in the bay.

Friday was one of those sessions.

Not perfect. Not pumping.

Just fun.

Skip making the most of it.

Patience.

The most underrated part of surfing.

Wave after wave. Session after session. Year after year.

Then one evening, everything slows down and the lines start connecting.

Skip finding rhythm on a fun high tide runner at Summerleaze Bay.

While the Atlantic was throwing everything it had at the coast, Summerleaze Bay had a different idea.

A few clean runners tucked inside the bay, just enough wall to trim and glide.

Nothing world-class.

Nothing heroic.

Just the kind of high-tide fun that reminds you why you paddle out in the first place.

While everyone was chasing the headline swell, Summerleaze Bay was quietly serving up a few runners.

Not perfect.

Not epic.

Just fun.

Sometimes that’s enough.

A little experiment.

I’ve been wondering whether some of my surf photography could work beyond Instagram posts and reels.

So I’ve taken a few images and reworked them into vintage-style Corduroy Lines prints.

No plans. No shop. Just testing an idea.

Would you hang any of these on your wall?

Let me know your favourite slide 👇
