✨ WEST PIER PHOTO EXHIBITION ✨

A selection of clips relating to some of the photographs that'll be at my first solo photography exhibition held at the West Pier Centre in a couple of weeks. Stop by and take a look! 😊

📍West Pier Centre Location: 103-105 King's Road Arches, BN1 2FN (near to the West Pier!)

📆 Private View: Thursday 10th September - 5.30 to 7.30pm (Feel free to come to the private view the night before it opens too 🙂✌🏻)

📆 Begins: Friday 11th September.
Opening Days: Saturday and Sunday 11am to 4pm (Friday and Monday it should be open, but is largely weather dependent!).

Come see my first photography exhibition at the West Pier Centre from Friday 11th September (or come to the Private View the night before on Thursday 10th September 5.30-7.30pm). It'll be on until March '27, so no rush but it's mostly open on weekends 🩵

A short video of the Solar Eclipse about 10 minutes before it reached its maximum of 92% in Brighton 🌙

Insane to think that it's the Moon that's blocking out the Sun and that the Moon is the same size as the Sun from Earth!

The dark patches are Sunspots, which can release Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) that create Aurora here on Earth! 💜🌎

Solar Eclipse behind the Brighton i360 Pod ☀️🌕🌙

I've been planning this shot since I first knew about the eclipse about a year ago and it mostly went how I planned it (although I thought the eclipse was going to appear on the other side of the pod 😅)! The panic of building a makeshift solar filter holder out of cardboard about half an hour before I left wasn't ideal, but it seemed to hold up ok...

The shot was taken about 19:20 - so perhaps anyone on the pod at this time might recognise themselves as a figure walking in front of the Sun/Moon 😊

Photos to come....although I think the videos I took were probably the highlight tbh!

Oh, also, hi to anyone I spoke to on the seafront as well! 😁

In other news, it's the final day at The Grange gallery, Rottingdean tomorrow! I'll be there 1-4pm, stop by and say hi and check out everyone's beautiful artwork 😊

If you didn't see my other posts there's a lovely tea garden behind the venue and they'll also be 8 other wonderful artists, including painters, printmakers and ceramicists.
