I capture natural, joyful and beautifully honest moments, with a love for people, places & the wonderfully imperfect. I am passionate about photography, creativity and design; capturing stunning images to be remembered. They are memories and moments in our lives and I want to share what I can do with you! I have been approached by many people wanting my services as a Wedding, Art and Portrait Phot

Katie & John's wedding was something special.

After years of loving, laughing and doing life together, Katie & John finally became husband and wife surrounded by the people they love most, beneath the most incredible Devon sunshine at Hawke Barn

Their ceremony by the lake was simply beautiful. With the water glistening in the sunshine, the rolling Devon countryside stretching out towards Exmoor and the warmth of the day all around them, it felt like the most perfect setting to say I do. There was something so wonderfully peaceful about those moments by the lake before the hugs, the laughter, the confetti and the celebrations began.

As the afternoon unfolded, we wandered through the beautiful grounds, soaking up every last bit of that sunshine before watching the golden evening light. Then it was back to the barn for cocktails, incredible food, atmospheric music and plenty of dancing. A day filled with sunshine, laughter, happy tears and all the people who matter most.

Katie & John, what a joy it was to be there to capture this chapter of your story. Congratulations to you both and here’s to a lifetime of the very best kind of adventures together.

This time last year we brought James & Adele's wedding day at Tawstock Court a whole week forward

With love guiding their hearts so James' dad could be there for them. A week later he sadly sadly passed away.

After the thunderstorm came the rainbows, their day was filled with love, tears and joy as they exchanged vows in the stunning panelled hall. Adele was radiant in her dress and the flower girls stole everyones hearts. We ended the evening with sparklers and dancing. A day that will always be remembered for family. Love always, Laura x

✨ Throwback to Chloe & Tom’s beautiful wedding day! ✨ (part 2)
Married at the charming St Michael’s Shebbear Church with a gorgeous reception at Country Ways over looking the stunning countryside it truly was a day to remember.

This one felt extra special for me… I actually taught Tom 10 years ago! So seeing him marry the love of his life was such a proud and heartwarming moment. Their day was full of personal touches bright sunflowers, a true farmer’s wedding vibe and of course we had to stop off at the farm for photos with the cows in the Land Rover! 🚜🌻🐄 Sunshine blessed us all day long. Plenty of fun, laughter, dancing… and cows. Also the first rabbit The perfect combination if you ask me!

✨ Gabriella & Jake’s intimate wedding day✨
What an absolute joy it was to capture Gabriella and Jake’s beautiful wedding at the stunning Tawstock Court From the moment I arrived there was so much love, where two people who are truly meant to be. Their ceremony took place outside byt the fountain overlooking codden hill, perfectly timed between the showers. Every detail was so beautifully thought out from the delicate styling to the laughter shared among their closest family and friends.

Gabriella looked utterly breathtaking in her gown from Frilly Frocks Bridal Wear elegant, timeless and completely her. Jake couldn’t take his eyes off her (and honestly, none of us could either!) It was a smaller wedding but filled to the brim with love, joy and those real heart-tugging moments that make photographing weddings so special.

Gabriella & Jake, thank you for trusting me to capture your story. It was such an honour to share in your day. Every moment is with you through your photos, happy anniversary and love always, Laura x

✨ A new name. Same me. ✨

After 10 years of building my “little” business, capturing nearly 700 weddings and meeting the most incredible people along the way, I’ve decided it’s time for a change.

Freeformimages Photography is becoming Laura Marie Photography

Honestly… it feels a little bit scary, very exciting but completely right.

For a long time, my business name has been separate from me. But after a decade of growing, learning, changing and figuring out exactly who I am and what I want my photography to be, I realised something quite simple…

I am who I am Laura Marie.

So, I’m putting my own name at the heart of everything.

Laura Marie Photography is still everything you’ve always known and loved. The colour, the laughter, the emotion, the happy tears, the big hugs and all those little moments in between.

But it’s also more me.

More personal. More intentional. More grown-up. And a little more luxurious too.

The same Laura behind the camera.
The same ridiculous excitement when I photograph your wedding.
The same calm, kind and completely invested approach.
Just with my own name above the door.

To everyone who has supported Freeformimages over the last 10 years booked me, recommended me, shared my work, trusted me with your wedding days and invited me back to photograph your families…
