Some fantastic images sent over to us by Pat Osborne Taken earlier in the week at the hare hides. With the lack of rain the UK has been experiencing the dry, dead grass is complimenting the fur on the hares perfectly.

Kingfishers at the pond having a dispute. Thanks to Linda Chapman for sending this great footage over. The birds are obviously very evenly matched as neither is giving up.

It's an owl bonanza at our Lincolnshire site at the moment. All 3 species of owls we have been working with this year are showing well at the hides along with their young. That's Tawny's at the wired hide & Barn & little owls at scaffold hides.

Sessions with all species are nocturnals starting in the late evening and running into the night.

Some fantastic footage taken by Paul Hackett yesterday at our parasitic cuckoo site. These were all taken on a iPhone 15 pro using the kowa 55 straight scope, 17-40 zoom eyepiece & vario adapter. You’ve got to agree the quality and sharpness is incredible in these closeups. Thanks for sending them over Paul.

Last nights session with the little owls was spent in the company of Richard Carnell. I went and hit the hay at midnight but Richard stayed on for another hour and got the money shot!! Thanks for sending it over Richard - I’ll be back in the hide tonight to try capture something similar.
