This was such a fun event to photograph. Stuart and Mizuki live in Thailand and had gotten married in Thailand, followed by another ceremony in Japan for Mizuki's family. Then to round things off they had a blessing in St Asaph Parish Church. Since this wasn't a legal wedding it meant they had complete free rein with their vows and could come up with something really personal to them.

This picture of Mizuki and her Dad arrivig at St Asaph Parish Church makes me smile. It just looks like they've come from the shop in the background, which conjures up images in my mind of a city where all the ladies are walking round in wedding dresses. 😂

After having photographed a wedding at Christ Church Bala several years ago I was lucky enough recently to be able to return to this beautiful venue for Amanda and Ben's special day. They had a lovely intimate event with just close family and friends, which made it really special.
After the ceremony they had their reception at Bala Golf Club which meant that you can see the church in the background of many of their portraits.
And how lovely is the cake from Rebecca Hurd Cakes. Not that I should be surprised, her cakes are always wonderful.

Last Saturday I had a fab time photographing Carrie and Sean's wedding at White House Hotel Restaurant and Spa . And now that they've had the pictures, I am able to share a snapshot of their wonderful day.
The day was an absolute scorcher with blue skies, hot sunshine and temperatures of over 30C. Thankfully this lovely venue have very effective air con installed and inside the function rooms it was really refreshingly cool. Carrie and Sean and their family and friends were so much fun to spend time with. Instead of confetti, Carrie decided to have bubbles, which was really fun and effective.

Happy 4th Anniversary to Savannah and Matias. They had a wonderful handfasting in a friends woodland glade. A truly magical day in a very atmospheric setting.
