The 48th Fighter Wing at RAF Lakenheath in the UK unveiled a heritage-painted F-15E Strike Eagle (Tail #91-311) to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Operation El Dorado Canyon. The jet is painted in the iconic tan and green camouflage of the F-111 Aardvark.

Mad flight - Two F15’s through the Mach Loop around lunchtime. The timing was impeccable in between the heavy showers !! A coffee and a dry out was required in the Cross foxes later 😁

I was handed this photo taken around eighteen years ago. Tecwyn Williams used to look after our sheepdog Gel whilst we were away on holiday. It's a copy of a copy and as a result the resolution isn't great. I thought I'd run it through the Adobe partnership Ai software called Nano Banana. Reasonable results but I think it's a bit off with changes to facial features. I’ve posted the two Ai edits.
