Today I decided to go out and see what's in the long grass, it was hot n steamy, there were a lot of Dragonflies and Damselflies, but I came cross one of my favourites since I was a kid, the 'Grass Hopper', there were a few varieties about, a privilege to spend some time with these small guys .......

I haven't posted in a while, so here's an end of July post, I was walking at some old gravel pits and thinking 'I haven't seen many wrens about recently? ', and as I was walking I noticed a small bird following me from post to post, I thought it was a greedy Robin at first so I paid it no attention, and to my surprise there she is, a nice fat little Wren, one of the prettiest small birds, but they can be so loud too, great seeing her, and she wasn't in a rush to get off, stunning bird .......
