📸 A quick note about my wrestling photography
I feel like I need to explain this one, as a photographer that's worked in wrestling for years, but also in the 'real world' of photography too, where things are a bit more shall we say, strict. When it comes to imagery I've always tried to keep things simple, friendly and affordable when covering wrestling shows, and I'd like to carry on working that way.
To make things clear for everyone, when a promotion books me they are paying for event coverage and a licence to use the images for their social media, posters, website, advertising and promotion of their shows across the board.
I retain the copyright to all images (this is standard in the photography world) - and may also use them on my own social media, website and portfolio.
Wrestlers are always welcome to use photos of themselves on their own social media too. I've always enjoyed being able to provide images that help people promote themselves and build their profiles.
The (small) fee I charge is for photography coverage and promotional use of the images. It does not include exclusive rights or transfer of copyright.
My aim has always been to support grassroots wrestling, create great images, to keep things straightforward and fair for everyone involved.
Thanks to all the promotions, wrestlers and fans who continue to support my work. 🙏📸
