Kurt Cobain of Nirvana photographed on their final US tour in November 1993... of all the Nirvana pictures I took, this is probably my favourite.

If you like it, prints will be available to buy for a two week period via Four Corners () All proceeds will be used to allow them to continue their culturally important work...

50 AT FIFTY, a landmark fundraiser celebrating 50 years of Four Corners - the East London charity which has been at the heart of independent film and photography since 1975. 

For a 2 week window, you’ll have the chance to buy a fine art print by incredible photographers — for just £50 each. 

Each 10x8” print is produced on Hahnemühle Fine Art Pearl paper and accompanied by a certificate of authentication.    

Every print sold will help support Four Corners’ free creative community projects, exhibitions and affordable artist spaces. With no core funding, the charity urgently needs support to continue its vital work.

Ed Harcourt - Orphic...
Ed & I have been collaborating now for 25 years, we've pulled some crazy stunts, Orphic however is a way more sober affair, a reflection of the times, a pill to peacefully ease us into winter. The imagery was created in his neighbourhood & Julia Margaret Cameron's photograph 'I Wait' from 1872 had to feature on the cover. I'd like to congratulate Ed on another immaculate release & thank him for sticking with me (& for not actually killing me 🤣)

So I have an exhibition running at Centrala in Birmingham, put all my energy into printing, framing & then hanging it - I'm immensely proud of the work & the space is perfect... I didn't take more than a couple of photos in the gallery because you just need to go & see it... it's real - big physical prints made in my darkroom that you can stand in front of. Huge thanks to Marion & Richard at Centrala for staging the show & to Chris Spalton for helping me hang the frames. Now that these pictures are out, I want them to travel - where to next? they need a lot of wall!
