Summer came and went by, in a blink.

I’ve been glued to my editing tablet for the last few days and even though editing is LONG, it does feel rather lovely to revisit all the special summer shoots we had this year.

This shoot with Megan was particularly gorgeous and the BTS is equally as exquisite - it deserved a spot on the feed.

I’ll be sharing more of the work we made over the next week. As my application season starts, there will be a new focus starting Sunday.

What I love most about CV shoots is really harnessing and portraying and the personality and individuality of the dancer I’m working with. I want every dancer to look different, because, well they are all different. So different. I’ve never shot two dancers the same…

If I feel we’ve captured their personality, that’s half the battle.

Did someone say Company Apprentice?

I couldn’t be more thrilled for ._.0124 as he joins Birmingham Royal Ballet as an apprentice this summer.

I shot Ted’s CV around this time last year as part of my annual trip to Elmhurst Ballet School for the grad year CV shoots.

I now have less than 20 application shoot slots remaining.

As always, every shoot is tailored specifically to the requirements of each school you’ve chosen to apply to, ensuring you have professional, polished images that give your application the strongest first impression possible.

Every year these appointments disappear much faster than the year before, and I never want anyone to miss out because they assumed there would still be availability later on 🫣😬

There is nothing better than seeing hard work pay off 🙌🏼

Incredible news through today - both skyekemsleyx & Caitlin Le Roux received their positions as trainee artists with London City Ballet.

It was such a privilege to shoot their CVs - I’m so thrilled to see where their talent, dedication and determination have taken them.

Both such beautiful dancers, who are so deserving of this.

Fulfilled ✨

It’s not often I’m completely speechless on a shoot but today was one of those days.

I have been shooting Megan since 2021 (swipe for a shot from our first shoot) and watching her grow into the young lady she is today, makes me a little emotional…

I always knew the future would be bright for her.

Exactly a week ago I officially launched archlight 💡

I can’t really put the last 7 days into words. I think all I can say is that it feels like it’s all fallen into place… way more than I ever could have hoped for.

The absolute best compliment from the dancers and parents this week is that there is just such a genuine authentic vibe at the arch. It’s paramount that dancers feel comfortable in the shoot space and to know that I’ve achieved that is everything.

As for the giveaway… I have been utterly gobsmacked at the reach and exposure. So much so, it is quite a lengthy process cataloguing everyone’s entries into the spreadsheet which I hadn’t anticipated AT ALL. As soon as I have drawn this, I will announce the winner on my insta 👌🏼

For now, we have just finished loading the van for a very exciting job tomorrow… 🤫👀
