Hug them.
Hug them tight.

There are so many beautiful memories from Maria and Caolan’s Day but what stood out to me most is how fully present they were. Maria paused to notice a little bumble bee in her bouquet, they had the most craic doing their family portraits, they played, they laughed hard, both of them being incredible musicians performed a song to each other, but etched in my mind are the hugs. The most simple wedding tip I can give. Hug them tight.

Have you tried Little Wing yet?
That was the first question that Conor asked Izzy. One question that led to their first date, and then changed the course of their entire lives. Izzy and Conor together are a rich tapestry, a blend of Welsh and Irish. A book loving rugby gal and a french speaking GAA man. Conor said ‘Every stranger to Izzy is just a friend she hasn’t met yet’ and the moment I met her, I completely understood. It’s really hard to find the words to describe how incredible their day was, I just know I feel incredibly lucky to have been part of their journey. It’s a story book I just don’t want to put down. Thank you for everything, you both are magic ✨

I don’t know if you’ve stood at the edge of the water at Ballintoy harbour just as the winter sun is beginning to set, there’s some hazy mist rolling out and the birds are starting to do that swooping dance thing in the sky that they only do at a certain time of day. But I tell ya, I’ve never felt so incredibly grateful to live on such a beautiful island and to be documenting Caoimhe + David’s gorgeous pre-wedding shoot on it. Thank you for such a fun, relaxed and joyful day 🖤
