One question that comes up quite a bit is...
"Should we book a videographer as well?" 🤔
There's no right or wrong answer, it just depends what's important to you.
If you'd love a video to look back on, but don't fancy having a photographer, videographer and content creator all around you all day, our Hybrid Photography & Highlight Film packages are well worth a look.
As a Somerset wedding photographer, Derryn photographs your wedding exactly as he always does, but throughout the day he'll also capture short video clips using the same camera. Those clips are edited together into a 3–5 minute highlight film, so you get your wedding photos and a video to relive the day.
The biggest difference? It's still just one person.
Most of our couples tell us they're not really comfortable in front of the camera and just want to get on with enjoying the day. That's exactly how Derryn works. No big production, no extra crew and no constantly being asked to do things twice. Just relaxed photography with a few natural video clips captured along the way.
We've just shared a wedding blog from Priston Mill nr Bath on our website, where the couple chose to add a highlight film to their photography package.
Have a read through the blog, watch the highlight film and see how our hybrid approach works, and whether it could be the right fit for your day.
If you're looking for a Somerset wedding photographer and are weighing up whether to book a photographer, videographer or content creator, and you'd prefer a relaxed approach with one person capturing it all, we'd love to have a chat.
