Crescent II. Tourist City . I’m unsure what she was doing , the camera phone seemed to be facing the crescent but something was wrong with her hair I think .. may a small group of local wasps causing her issues , she spent minutes throwing her hair around and flicking her hands through it .. some internet trend I don’t know of .. stand famous place , play with hair on camera ..internet has some strange corners 2026 is a strange year..

Student Digs / Formerly the Lower Bristol Road : Tourist City . The area once house much of the cities industry , horseman gears , Herman Miller .. and quite a lot of residential properties. The latest developments are dominating. The city is changing rapidly.

Bath Press : Tourist City. Both my paternal grandparents worked here in their youth. My grandfather worked as a litho-photographic engraver for Pitman Press. My grandmother was a book binder. Both skills I meddled with with UWE .. sadle stitch zine binding and attempting and failing to litho photography on to Bath stone. .. not sure I’ll litho again , but a good zine might be in order .. here we have remains of the Bath/Pittman Press currently being redeveloped on the Lower Bristol Road. Either more unaffordable housing or student accommodation..

Ensleigh : Tourist City . As Bath has changed and all meaningful employment has left the city. Most notably the MoD / Admiralty , which had multiple sites across the city. These sites have been re-developed with some controversy. I previously claimed no social housing had been built . That’s not entirely true but the numbers are so low they meet a total of less than 1% of the need. Anyhow today I went up to explore ensleigh , the last time I was up there it was being built. I’ll be honest it felt like strange place, nothing felt correct or “normal” .. like they’re pretty buildings , but all built tall and with small foot prints to maximise profits not enjoyment of residence. But l told there are some social houses here , based on cars ,, maybe two I could guess at .. or was kinda like walking around Epcot centre ..

DPD: Tourist City. A DPD man delivers to an address adorned with one of Bath’s many Victorian “ghost signs” for Hay Hill Dairy. Contrary to my wild belief no cows were ever here , only the manufacture of dairy products. Where once we had a milkman , now we have DPD-Man ..
