As you know I have worked as a professional photographer over the years and am looking to get back into the swing of things after taking quite an extended break. With the wedding season in full swing if you haven't booked a photographer give me a shout!

I don't share wedding photos as I am very conscious of sharing photos of the bride and female guests at the weddings.

I may also be able to find a suitable videographer to work with if you have a requirement for video.

One of the UK community's hidden gems. A wonderful young scholar, an engaging and easygoing personality with a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. He regularly visits our mosque on a monthly basis to deliver a short lecture on the life of the Prophet Muhammad. He gives his time freely and selflessly. On his recent visit I wanted to get a quick impromptu portrait of him. I took a few photos and wasn't getting "him", so all I said was "why so serious?" And then got this shot which really got "him".

There is a to like this because you have to capture the of the piece. Standard lighting will douse the shadows and render the photographs and artwork very flat. I didn't have any with me apart from . The trick is to have the light rake across the item to encourage and deepen the and of the piece.

I made some adjustments in Lightroom mobile and did a little perspective correction as I wasn't even using a tripod so these were handheld shots.

The artist, , creates the individual elements of each piece, hand-paints them and then arranges them in the frames that you see. The other feature of these pieces is that they appear different from various viewing angles dues to their 3d nature.
