What a stunning day it was when they tied the knot at Bude beach huts. If you're looking for a place in the Southwest for an intimate wedding or elopement that offers sea, big skies, golden sand and the most relaxed of vibes, I can't recommend it enough 💛

Throwing it back to the most incredible wedding last summer. These two beach babes tied the knot their way....they walked down the aisle together, limboed on the terrace, explored the stunning coastline, hugged lots and partied hard. And the love just shone out of them.

No matter where I live in the world, the North Devon coast is always 'home' in my heart. So I felt incredibly privileged to be able to shoot at the beautiful Tunnels Beaches, seconding for my insanely talented friend .laurie.b . Thank you for having me 🩷

A really common dilemma I hear from couples is wanting to make sure they get photos with lots of different groups of friends, but not wanting to stand around for ages after the ceremony with a long list of photos...

With the lovely K&A, we kept group shots after the ceremony to key family pics. Then mid-way through their cosy pub reception, we took a wander to the nearby park and got some bonus group pics with their friends. It was a really great way of making sure no-one was standing around for too long, and the sunny stroll to the park was a gorgeous interlude!

Whatever your preferences, when it comes to group pictures - you call the shots! Some couples have none. I advise that eight-ten is ideally the maximum after a ceremony - any more and people will get itchy feet and you'll start to wonder why you didn't prioritise hanging out with your guests and eating the snacks on offer ;)

But if you want to make sure you get all the combos of your other mates - an impromptu session later in the day like K&A is always a fun option :) For more on helping group photos go smoothly, you can check out the blog (link in bio)

And just like that...I fall in love with a winter wedding ✨

V&S created their beautiful celebration at Ravenswood in December so that they and their guests could squeeze every drop of fun and joy from the day.

The cosy setting, the beautiful grounds, the fabulous cake, the twinkling festive lights....and the singing. Ohhh the singing!!

Plus Ravenswood is full of hidden corners that create a gorgeous atmosphere for different moments...I mean who doesn't love nighttime sparklers under the trees?!

Thank you V&S for such an incredible day - absolutely packed full but still brought such a chilled vibe ✨

I love a walk. In life, but also at weddings.

If you're not sure how photos of just the two of you will feel, let's build them into your wedding day in a way that flows and feels natural. Walking together is the perfect way to do that.

After their ceremony the wonderful A&A strolled through Hereford with their guests to have a relaxed meal. After a little while we peeled off from the group, and had a wander through the cathedral park, and some side streets. Perfect for a moment of calm, togetherness, and some gorgeous, natural photos (swipe to see!) before rejoining everyone else for food.

Thank you A&A for being so kind, warm and welcoming - you really created the most special celebrations to be a part of 🤍💚

Ps - I'm still in love with A's incredible jumpsuit!
