This Saturday is the anniversary of DDay.

In memory of the 55,000 soldiers that set off from Southampton in 1944, many never to return, a lone piper will be playing at the DDay memorial in Royal Victoria Country Park at 7:30am for about 15 minutes.

If this seems like a fitting start to your weekend, please feel free to join them.

The DDay memorial is at the edge of the shore, at the end of the path down from the chapel.

Folkestone Harbour Arm Sat 2pm 16th May, and the wonderful for their Sunday Service at a very civilised 6pm on Sunday 17th May.

Tickets for two new Biggleswade Ghost Walk dates are being released today at midday! Grab your tickets whilst you can, they do sell out really quickly. As these walks are in late May and June, they start later at 8pm finishing at 10 so that we can avoid the heat and get some dusk spookiness. Weird in the Wade's 3 year anniversary episode is out tomorrow (27th April) all about the paranormal sleepover at the Golden Pheasant, Biggleswade.
