No rushing.

No noise.

Wee Harry the Jack Russell 🤎🐾
I had the privilege of drawing Harry’s owner’s previous dog many years ago, so when he contacted me again after sadly losing Harry, it felt especially meaningful to be trusted to create another portrait for him.
It's been a busy couple of months, but I knew I had to find a little space for Harry. 🤍 His owner was incredibly patient while waiting for me to complete him, and I really hope this portrait brings some comfort and becomes a special reminder of a much-loved little dog who is so greatly missed. 🌈🐾

Some commissions carry a little more emotion than others… and Harry was certainly one of those.

His owner contacted me after suddenly losing his best friend; his little shadow. 💔 Having drawn his previous dog many years ago, it meant so much that he came back to me and trusted me once again to capture Harry.

At the time, I didn’t have much space in my commission diary, so Harry the Jack Russell's portrait has been very patiently waited for.

I hope Harry’s portrait brings a little comfort and becomes a beautiful reminder of a much-loved best friend and little shadow.

Imagine standing here for a moment…
The day is almost over. The fields have fallen quiet, the light is fading, and above you those deep, brooding clouds seem to hold the whole sky.
And yet, beneath all that darkness, the sunset still finds a way through, glowing across the horizon.
That beautiful contrast between darkness and light, drama and stillness.
A landscape you don’t just look at, but one you can almost step into and get lost in for a while.

Some sunsets don’t need words. They simply ask you to stop for a moment… and feel.
For me, 'A Moment of Peace' is about that quiet pause at the end of the day, when the sky softens, the landscape becomes still, and for just a little while, everything else seems to fade away.
I wanted this piece to feel like somewhere you could escape to, a place to breathe, reflect, and just be.
But art makes each of us feel something different, and I’d love to know what this one brings out in you.
