Fiona & Jonathan eloped at the beautiful Birks of Aberfeldy, with just their dog Pippin, dog sitter, celebrant and me for company! 🥰

Their intimate woodland ceremony was followed by a lovely walk, with some relaxed, candid photos in the woods and along the riverbank. 🌿💍🐾

“Let’s run away to the woods” — so they did! ❤️

The Hermitage and Dunkeld NTS in Perthshire, is one of my favourite local wedding venues. I’m here pretty often and have seen all kinds of weather, including the heavy rain that greeted Libby & Chris on their wedding day! 🌧️

Their small, intimate wedding was meant to take place in the beautiful Forest Cathedral, but the torrential rain made that rather tricky. As always, Mel and her colleagues at the National Trust for Scotland were incredibly helpful, and we were able to use the shelter of Ossian’s Hall instead.

Local celebrant Jane Bechtel did a great job - she is a wonderful human being and it's always a joy working alongside her.

This was a truly intimate ceremony, with just the bride, groom, their daughter and their dog! 🐶 I was the photographer as well as a witness, which was such an honour.

When you're with a couple for their full wedding day, you really do create a special connection. ❤️ What a wonderful day this was with Stuart, Kirsty and their friends and families. 🥂

They got married at The Laurel Bank Hotel in Markinch, Fife, and celebrated in style. 🎉 There were many emotional moments throughout the day, and I felt privileged to capture it all. It was also great fun working with Tim, the videographer from Kilted Creative – hopefully we'll get the chance to work together again in the future.

Rev. Marvin Andrews was once again the minister. It's always a pleasure to work with him at the Laurelbank.

Kuin's romantic wedding proposal to Sam, who of course said YES!! 💍❤️

They travelled all the way from Australia to Scotland and Kuin secretly organised this proposal on the famous Roman Bridge in Glen Lyon.

He and I had arranged for me to hide across the river and capture the moment as it happened. Afterwards, I crossed a nearby footbridge to take their engagement portraits and of course be the first to congratulate them!

What a privilege to capture such a special moment in one of Scotland's most beautiful locations. Congratulations Kuin & Sam – wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together! 🥂

🌿✨An intimate wedding ceremony at the ever-stunning Hermitage near Dunkeld, Perthshire, for Steph & Jamie.

It's always a pleasure to return to this beautiful spot, and once again the magical setting of Ossian’s Hall provided the perfect backdrop for a special wedding day. We enjoyed taking some photos on the old bridge and along the banks of the River Braan. 📸

I had such a brilliant day at Fonab Castle Hotel & Spa this weekend; a lovely group of friends visiting all the way from Saudi Arabia asked me to photograph them in traditional Scottish dress - and they absolutely looked the part. In fact, a couple of passers-by even asked these gentlemen where the bride was!

We managed to dodge the snow showers and captured some fantastic portraits in and around the castle. Such a fun shoot in a truly stunning setting ✨
