I had such a brilliant day at Fonab Castle Hotel & Spa this weekend; a lovely group of friends visiting all the way from Saudi Arabia asked me to photograph them in traditional Scottish dress - and they absolutely looked the part. In fact, a couple of passers-by even asked these gentlemen where the bride was!

We managed to dodge the snow showers and captured some fantastic portraits in and around the castle. Such a fun shoot in a truly stunning setting ✨

✨ What a year. ✨ Thank you to everyone who let me be a part of their story in 2025. From the smallest, most intimate weddings to full-day celebrations with lots of friends and family; it’s been an absolute joy from start to finish ❤️

I loved every single one: a festival-style wedding on a family farm, a quiet registry office ceremony with just the bride, groom and their kids, wonderful days at the always-stunning Hermitage in Dunkeld, and even a wedding on the beach on the beautiful Isle of Bute 🌿🌊

I feel incredibly lucky to do what I do, and I’m already looking forward to many more special days in 2026 and beyond. Wishing my couples past and future, as well as all my followers, lots of love and happiness for the year ahead 🥰✨ Your likes, shares and comments mean the world to me 🙏

What an amazing day this was: Laura & Mark’s beautiful wedding back in September 💛

It was so lovely to be back in Killin and see so many familiar faces. Laura & Mark even had the same piper as me and my husband 19 years ago! Great to see “big” Duncan again.

Laura looked absolutely stunning in her white dress, and the ceremony in the local church Killin and Ardeonaig Parish Church of Scotland, led by her uncle, was incredibly special. We may have caused a tiny bit of chaos on the bridge at the Falls of Dochart by stopping the traffic for a moment, but surely that’s allowed on your wedding day! 😉

The reception, evening meal and ceilidh at the Apex Dunblane Hydro made for the perfect celebration. Congratulations Laura & Mark! 🎉💍

I’ve never been so soaked during a shoot; the rain was torrential. Huge thanks to the father of the bride for keeping my gear dry!

This was a wonderful woodland celebration at one of my favourite local wedding venues, the gorgeous Hermitage in Dunkeld, Perthshire. Huge congratulations to Linda and Brian who tied the knot! After the ceremony and some posed photos we moved on to the Black Watch Museum & Castle in Perth for the reception and speeches. It was a lovely day full of joy and laughter! ❤

Day one of two! ✨

Stacey & Bradley got married in the sunny Allean Forest near Pitlochry, with views over Loch Tummel and the Queen’s View 🏞️, Perthshire. There were only nine of us there, including the lovely celebrant Jane Bechtel 💍

It was a beautiful outdoor summer ceremony 💚 with the chance to take some natural photos 📸 while walking back down to the car. This was day one of two, as Stacey and Bradley planned a big party 🎉 later in the week — when I joined them again to capture the celebrations! 🥂
