Last year, I received a very generous gift from Jireh's grandma - the flowers she used to make the arch for her daughter's wedding. To say I was overwhelmed by her kind gesture is to take it lightly, because I know how much these flowers must have cost. Yet she let me have them at no cost 💐💐💐

So when I heard that her grandson was born, I figured that using these flowers to photograph him would be the best way to bring them back to life in their story. Mum and dad graciously brought the most beautiful Jireh along, they even let me use their wedding photo for this post. 😍😍😍

All this to say that I'm surrounded by the kindest of people and it makes me love what I do even more - to see that I can keep creating beautiful memories that families will cherish forever - with backstory and all the emoshhh 🥰🥰🥰

If you're coming for a Newborn session, I'll love to know if there's something you cherish that you might want to incorporate in your photos - a family heirloom or something that has sentiment value (as long as it can fit into my space 😅) - you never know what's possible if you don't ask. 💙💙💙

Will AI take our jobs?

That's the trending question.

It’s easy to see the possibility, but I know that there's something AI cannot replace, and that's the love and the warmth our clients feel when they walk into our space and realise that the effort put in to create their set-up was done just for them!

Creativity.
Love.
Time.
Effort.
Presence.
The Experience!

That's our job! That's my job. And I love every bit of it 🥰

You don't have to wait till baby is born to look for a Newborn Photographer or book a session. Give yourself some time to plan and leave the worry to us.

But we know that life can be lifeing and things end up falling out of our to-do lists.

Even then, it's never too late.

Now is the best time to get in touch and freeze those forever memories that disappear as fast as Aberdeen's sunshine 🌞😅

As creatives, I believe we can achieve far more together than apart. Collaboration removes competition and increases impact, and when we come together, our diversity brings beauty and sharpens our creativity.

The Bible says that where two or three are gathered in the name of Jesus, He is there among them. He is the Spirit of excellence, and when we create as unto Him, His life and light shine through our work for maximum impact.

New Wine was more than just a creative project — it was a reflection of unity, excellence, faith, and the beauty that can be produced when people, no matter how different they are, come together to create - for His glory!

Fun fact: during the session, we found out that both Florrie and Katherine had milestone birthdays only a few days ahead. It seemed like we had planned it that way, but knowing that we didn't helped us trust the process, that God is always in the details 🥰🥰🥰

This image has a whole back story that I'll share in a bit, but allow me to say thank you to mum and dad for bringing 2 weeks old Jireh yesterday for this session. He was such a calm and peaceful little lad, I could photograph him all day 🥰

Your little one is precious, and they won't stay little forever. These moments will never be forgotten, but only when we freeze them 😊

Apparently I don't talk about my work enough, that's the verdict from various people I've recently met.

Truth be told, I rely quite a lot on 'word of mouth' as I hope that those who enjoy the TIO experience would be gracious enough to share with others. I also ask clients to write reviews (links are attached to every final gallery that goes out). Some do, some don't (you can't really force anyone to anyway 👀)

Nevertheless, I'm grateful for everyone who choose to come to me (as there are now so many photographers in my little town) and I don't take your trust for granted, it's an honour. And thank you to everyone who have left a review, who recommend me and speak well about their experience with me to others - take your flowers 💐

What happens when a bunch of Jesus-Gurls get together for some glam and modelling? That's what we did a few weeks ago, and I can tell you that a day was had!

A big shoutout to our glam specialist .weddings who stood for hours amplifying beauty and highlighting in the girls their individual features carefully crafted by ABBA.

8 hours later, we were still singing, dancing, smiling, laughing and posing. Encouragement flowed from one to another. Friendships were born and milestones were marked in a very special and unscripted way.

I'll take my time to share the back story as NEW WINE continues to unfold. As for the LEATHER - there had to be new wine skin for new wine 🥰
