I met my wife and got married here in Scotland, and before I knew it, I was home. Moments matter differently now, every detail, glance, laugh, and pause. Suddenly, films aren’t just a job. They’re how we hold onto what matters. I don’t make videos to create something perfect or staged. I film to preserve something real. Some people say confetti is cliché, or just one of those moments everyone includes without thinking.

But honestly, I’ve never been able to see it that way.

You leave the ceremony, where everything is contained, quiet, almost protected... and then suddenly you step outside into the world. Into light, noise, people, reality.

And everyone is there, waiting, to witness.

That’s why confetti never feels empty to me.

It’s chaotic, it’s imperfect, people laugh, things don’t go as planned, and yet that’s exactly why it matters.

That crossing is real.

It’s the first moment they exist in the world, as husband and wife.
