🇺🇸Here red is the color that teaches. the warriors don’t paint their bodies, they wear the earth. each leap is a conversation with the sky. each song is a thread that ties the wind. when you can, tell me if you’ve ever seen a dance like this.
the Maasai don’t walk on the savanna, they belong to it. each step is a story. each bead necklace holds a birth, a battle, a love. cattle aren’t wealth, they’re inheritance. the lion isn’t fear, it’s a neighbor.
the moon teaches the seasons. the elders teach the winds. the women weave beads like they weave time and build the houses with mud and dung, round as the womb that shelters life. everything on the savanna has a name. everything has a reason.
the warriors dance with the dust and the afternoon light. each leap is a prayer the earth answers. that’s how you speak to the sun. that’s how you thank for the rain.
thanking for this encounter with life will never be enough. until the last leap.
