The Cheburashka rig (also known as a bottom jig) features a hinged, spherical weight with a slot and a removable clip. It is particularly effective when paired with a Texas-style hook (such as the ChebOo Offset), as it allows the soft lure to move freely and minimizes snagging. It can also be used with a straight-shank hook, like the ChebOo Lok.

This rig is highly effective for targeting perch, zander, and pike.
