This wedding was split into two beautiful chapters, starting with the preparations at the stunning Château de la Gaude — a venue I had the pleasure of discovering for the very first time.

One question I’m often asked as a French wedding photographer is: “Have you photographed our venue before?” My answer is always the same: it’s never a requirement. Every wedding is unique, every light is different, and I love approaching a place with fresh eyes.

The bride had shared plenty of inspiration beforehand, and I loved bringing those ideas to life while leaving room for spontaneity. Photographing in the little maze quickly became one of my favorite moments of the morning.

Whether I’m returning to a familiar venue or discovering it for the first time, my approach stays the same: creating thoughtful, timeless images that feel true to your day.

And as a Provence photographer, I can honestly say this place was a wonderful surprise.

Every story is different. Every couple carries their own story, their own sensitivity and their own people. I’m always invested in understanding all of it, because that’s what allows me to photograph the day as truthfully as possible.

Throughout it all, my goal remains the same: not to miss a thing. To preserve the big moments as much as the quiet ones, while never losing sight of the aesthetics.
Because the most beautiful wedding photography, to me, is where emotion and intention meet. 🤍

Black and White 🖤🤍 When and why ?

One of the questions my couples ask me most often is how I decide which images will be edited in black and white.
And honestly, it’s often a mix of instinct and emotion.

The images I naturally gravitate towards in black and white are usually the most immersive ones : The frames where emotion, movement or atmosphere feel strong enough that color almost becomes secondary. Removing it allows something more subtle, more intimate, sometimes even more powerful to emerge.

I also love black and white for the more candid, backstage moments. The in-between scenes, the real life unfolding quietly around the wedding day.

In the end, it’s rarely a rational choice.
It’s mostly a feeling ✨
