Nice Carnival 🎭
For over three months, I hit a wall, the inspiration just wasn’t there, and honestly, I wasn’t feeling it.
But the energy of the Nice Carnival finally pulled me back out. There is something about the chaos, the color, and the rhythm of this city that acts as a spark. It feels good to hold the camera again, to walk these streets, and to finally feel that drive return.

Martin Parr has been in the back of my mind for years while I’ve been making these pictures. His work is one of the few that feels truly tender, funny and deeply human all at once. This little series is my way of saying thank you for teaching me how to look at the messy, ridiculous everyday and love it even more.
