I’ve always had a little wanderlust in my soul — that urge to take the longer road, follow the path I’ve never walked before and see what might be waiting around the next corner.
Give me my cameras, an open landscape and a hint of beautiful light and I’m happy. 📷
I love those moments when the rest of the world seems to disappear. When I’m standing on a clifftop with the wind in my hair, wandering through woodland, watching the sun sink behind an old Dorset landmark, or racing against the last few minutes of golden hour because the sky has suddenly decided to do something magical.
That’s what photography is for me.
It isn’t simply about taking photographs. It’s about exploring. Noticing. Chasing light. Finding beauty in places other people might walk straight past.
Sometimes I know exactly where I’m going. Sometimes I haven’t got a clue. And quite often, the unexpected detours turn out to be the best adventures.
My cameras have taken me to some incredible places, but they’ve also taught me to see the extraordinary in the places right on my doorstep.
So I’ll keep wandering.
I’ll keep exploring.
I’ll keep chasing the light.
Because not all those who wander are lost…
