I’ve been working on something a little different…
I think it’s finally time to share that my husband and I are expecting two babies for this September!
Yep. You read that right: TWO. 🐥🐥
Being pregnant with identical twins has been the wildest adventure. If I’m honest, having twins wasn’t even a possibility in my mind, you can only imagine the disbelief when we saw two tiny babies on that ultrasound screen for the first time.
I’ve always been the kind of person who loves to plan the future, and this pregnancy has been the most beautiful reminder that life doesn’t always follow your plan, and that’s for the best. Sometimes the greatest surprises are the ones you never saw coming.
The beginning of my pregnancy was deeply intertwined with my work and couples (which were so sweet and caring 🫶). I found out while on a trip photographing a proposal, I remember staring at the test in complete disbelief as two lines appeared. The drive back home to tell Samuli (my husband) was the longest drive of my life!
The first months of pregnancy were filled with photography, hiking, and guiding couples all around Lapland. I kept going as usual, or at least tried my best to, but I have to admit the last hikes of the winter definitely humbled me. Stamina simply disappeared, and the morning sickness took over (who dared calling it morning sickness?!). 🤪
I’m beyond excited to begin this new chapter and become a family of 4 with the love of my life, I am so ready to meet our two little babies. ❤️
If you’re wondering if I’ll be available to photograph your own story, I’ll be back behind the cameras by the time winter 2026 starts! ❄️📸
Thank you Inkeri Kinnunen for capturing this beautiful moment of our lives!
