🌊 Del agua a la roca: una forma de leer esta fotografía.

Las estelas de espuma dibujan curvas en el primer plano y ayudan a conectar el agua con la aguja rocosa que destaca contra el cielo.

〰️ En la segunda imagen he señalado ese recorrido. La tercera propone un ejercicio para probarlo al fotografiar. Es una posible lectura del encuadre, no una regla que haya que aplicar siempre.

The foam trails create curves in the foreground, helping connect the water with the pointed rock against the sky.

〰️ The second image highlights that visual path. The third suggests an exercise to try when photographing. This is one possible reading of the frame, not a fixed rule.

🌊 Somewhere along the wild coast of northern Spain, winter mornings have a magic of their own.
A quiet winter morning at Punta de las Rubias, in Cudillero, Asturias. The low light, the sculpted rock formations and the still water in the foreground came together to create this scene.
I wanted to capture the feeling of being surrounded by these enormous rock walls, with the natural arch framing the landscape beyond. Sometimes, the best moments happen when the coast is quiet and there's nothing to do but enjoy the place.

🌊 En algún rincón de la costa salvaje del norte de España, las mañanas de invierno tienen una magia especial.
Una tranquila mañana de invierno en Punta de las Rubias, en Cudillero, Asturias. La luz suave, las formaciones rocosas esculpidas por el mar y el agua en calma del primer plano se unieron para crear esta escena.
Quería transmitir esa sensación de estar rodeado por enormes paredes de roca, con el arco natural enmarcando el paisaje del fondo. A veces, los mejores momentos llegan cuando la costa está tranquila y solo queda disfrutar del lugar.

🏆 Mi primera participación en los Epson Pano Awards.
Comparto 8 de las fotografías con las que participé este año en los Epson International Pano Awards.
Estoy muy contento con la experiencia de participar por primera vez en uno de los concursos de fotografía panorámica más importantes del mundo. Espero poder volver el año que viene, seguir aprendiendo y continuar mejorando como fotógrafo.
Quiero dar la enhorabuena a Daniel Viñe y Tomás Sánchez Photography por sus victorias en las categorías Open y Amateur, respectivamente. Es un orgullo ver a dos fotógrafos españoles en lo más alto, junto a otros compañeros que también han conseguido entrar en el Top 100.
¡Enhorabuena a todos los participantes y premiados! 🇪🇸👏

🏆 My first time entering the Epson Pano Awards.
I'm sharing 8 of the photographs I entered in this year's Epson International Pano Awards.
I'm really happy with the experience of taking part for the first time in one of the world's leading panoramic photography competitions. I hope to return next year, keep learning and continue improving as a photographer.
Congratulations to Daniel Viñe and Tomás Sánchez Photography on their victories in the Open and Amateur categories, respectively. It's a real source of pride to see two Spanish photographers at the top, alongside other fellow photographers who have also made it into the Top 100.

Atardecer tormentoso en la playa de Frejulfe, en Navia. Una banda de lluvia cerraba el horizonte y justo debajo se coló un hueco de luz naranja. Panorámica desde el aire para tener en el mismo encuadre la playa, los pinares y todo ese cielo cargado. ¿Habéis estado en Frejulfe con un día así?

🌊 ¿Conocías este rincón de la costa asturiana? ¿Y eres capaz de encontrarme en la foto? 👀

La playa del Destillo es uno de esos lugares que te recuerdan por qué merece la pena explorar la costa de Asturias.

Un paisaje salvaje de enormes formaciones rocosas, un arco natural y una pequeña ventana al horizonte por la que se cuela la última luz del atardecer. Un lugar que parece esconderse del mundo y que tiene una atmósfera muy especial.

Esta panorámica recoge toda la fuerza de este rincón del norte de España. Pero hay un pequeño detalle que quizá se te haya escapado… 😉

🍂 One weekend. Endless autumn landscapes.
How much can you experience during a weekend getaway to the Spanish Pyrenees?
Last autumn, I travelled to the Ordesa Valley with one goal in mind: to enjoy its forests, mountains and the incredible colours that make this one of the best times of year for landscape photography.
In just one weekend, I captured all these photographs. Golden beech forests, dramatic mountains and hidden corners that look completely different when the light and conditions come together.
Ordesa is one of those places that always makes you want to return, and autumn has something special that makes every visit unique.

🍂 Un fin de semana. Infinitos paisajes otoñales.
¿Cuánto puede dar de sí una escapada de fin de semana al Pirineo aragonés?
El otoño pasado viajé hasta el valle de Ordesa con una idea clara: disfrutar de sus bosques, sus montañas y esos colores que convierten esta época del año en una de las mejores para fotografiar el paisaje.
En apenas un fin de semana pude reunir todas estas fotografías. Hayedos teñidos de otoño, montañas imponentes y rincones que parecen completamente diferentes cuando la luz y las condiciones acompañan.
Ordesa es uno de esos lugares a los que siempre apetece volver, y el otoño tiene algo especial que hace que cada visita sea diferente.

🌅 A 360° sunset panorama at Punta de las Rubias, Asturias, Spain.

Some places make you stop and look around, trying to take it all in. This is one of them.

The rugged rock formations, the natural tidal pools and the dramatic colours of the sunset make this stretch of the Asturian coastline a special place to photograph. I captured this 360° panorama to show the whole scene, from the incredible textures in the foreground to the warm glow on the horizon.

Northern Spain never ceases to surprise me with its wild coastline and hidden photographic spots.

Hay lugares en los que te paras y miras a tu alrededor, intentando abarcarlo todo. Este es uno de ellos.

Las formaciones rocosas, las pozas naturales que deja la marea y los colores del atardecer convierten este rincón de la costa asturiana en un lugar especial para fotografiar. Hice esta panorámica de 360° para mostrar toda la escena, desde las increíbles texturas de las rocas en primer plano hasta la luz cálida del horizonte.

La costa del norte de España nunca deja de sorprenderme con sus paisajes salvajes y sus rincones por descubrir.

🍂 The Cantabrian Mountains in autumn… one of the most beautiful places to get lost in nature.
Hay una época del año en la que los bosques del norte de España se transforman por completo. Los verdes dan paso a los amarillos, naranjas y rojizos, y cada rincón parece tener algo diferente que ofrecer.
La Cordillera Cantábrica esconde auténticos tesoros para disfrutar del otoño, desde hayedos llenos de color hasta bosques que parecen sacados de otro mundo.
He reunido varias de mis localizaciones favoritas en esta serie. ¿Conoces todos estos lugares? 👀

The Cantabrian Mountains are home to some incredible autumn landscapes, from colourful beech forests to woodland scenes that look almost unreal.

🌅 Playa de Santa Gadea, Asturias | A 180° panorama of the wild northern Spanish coast.
Some sunsets make you stop and take it all in.
This 180° panorama captures the rugged coastline of Asturias, where dramatic rock formations, natural tidal pools and the golden light of the setting sun come together. The reflections in the still water add another dimension to the scene, while the person standing on the rocks gives a sense of scale to this incredible landscape.
Northern Spain has so many hidden coastal gems, and Santa Gadea is one of those places that reminds me why I love photographing the Atlantic coast.

Hay atardeceres que te hacen parar y disfrutar del momento.
Esta panorámica de 180° captura la costa rocosa de Asturias, donde las formaciones rocosas, las pozas naturales de marea y la luz dorada del sol al atardecer se unen. Los reflejos en el agua en calma aportan profundidad a la escena, mientras que la persona sobre las rocas ayuda a entender la escala de este paisaje.
