How many hedgehogs do you think are casualties on UK roads each year (Answer below)?
The answers shocked me and led me into wanting an image which showed the vulnerability of the 700g mammal against the 1,700,000g car.
BBC report the number could be as high as 335,000 per year!
Project Amazing Grace suggests a more conservative, but still shocking, number between 100,000-200,000 per year.
Also, I didn’t realise they had blue eyes 🥺🦔
