Silversands Beach House
A boutique resort developed by Ora Caribbean ORA Developers on Portici Beach in Grenada. Designed by architect Khaled Morgan Khaled Morgan , the property is nestled behind a protective cliff face to integrate with the area’s natural topography.
The resort comprises of 30 standalone units, distributed between beachfront and hillside elevations.
A defining signature of the project is the custom tensile canopy structure topping each accommodation, engineered to provide weather protection while visually mirroring the coastal environment. The central facilities include an elevated 42-foot infinity-edge pool, a restaurant, and lounge spaces.
It was an unforgettable experience shooting in Grenada, what a beautiful Island. Worth the long trips and the jet lags.

More from Villa Veil by AZAZ ARCHITECTS showing the unique basement.
A standout feature is the transparent-bottomed pool, its base formed from two large acrylic panels manufactured in Italy and engineered to appear as though it floats above the basement space below. The skylight provides alot of daylight to the dining area in the morning and unique mood of moving reflection by night.

Meant for entertainment and hosting guests, the basement living room features LunaWood louvres, a Martin Villalonga painting, Bearbrick collectables, blue CTS Salotti sofas, a mustard CB2 sofa and a bespoke coffee table handcrafted by Moroccan artisans.

A space where craftsmanship, innovation and design come together to inspire new possibilities.
The showroom at U Venues is a close collaboration between fused glass artist Walid Onsy Walid Onsy and interior designer Shewekar SHEWEKAR
Rooted in a shared spirit of experimentation, the project pushes the boundaries of glass through bespoke architectural elements, crafted to celebrate the material’s depth, texture and expressive potential.

Glass is often treated as a finishing material—a window, a tabletop or a decorative panel. For Egyptian artist Walid Onsy, however, it has always offered far greater possibilities.

Glass is often treated as a finishing material—a window, a tabletop or a decorative panel. For Egyptian artist Walid Onsy, however, it has always offered far greater possibilities.

“What began as a door evolved into a statement piece, demonstrating how tradition, when paired with innovation, can redefine the boundaries of craftsmanship and reveal new creative possibilities.” __Shewekar

The space comes to life through textured walls, clean geometry and a restrained material palette—a design vision by Shewekar, brought to life in collaboration with Walid Onsy.

Even commercial spaces deserve a soul.

An exploration of how glass, a material born from sand, can be transformed into something extraordinary through patience, craftsmanship and innovation.

The showroom is a celebration of that transformation—a space where art, design and materiality converge, inspiring new possibilities for artists, designers and makers alike.

Photographing this space became an extension of the same spirit of exploration that shaped its design. Every angle revealed a new dialogue between light, glass, texture and material, where complementary colours and contrasting surfaces continually transformed the experience. Discovering these relationships through the lens was, in itself, part of the journey.

A relatively small showroom, filled with wonder and possibility. Every corner reveals a new interplay of light, texture and craftsmanship, proving that great design is defined not by scale, but by the richness of the experience.
