Family photoshoot in Vilnius, Lithuania 🇱🇹

Every time I come back to Lithuania, I can’t help but photograph this little one and see how quickly he grows. 🥺 And the best part? You can’t stage any of these photos, haha.

This time, we grabbed a hectic morning coffee at Taste Map and then took a brisk walk towards Tauro Kalnas, with that fantastic view of Vilnius rooftops.

And maybe it’s moments like these that make me miss Vilnius so much. The familiar streets, the little coffee stops, the views I know by heart, and the feeling of being home. 🤍

Oh my, sometimes I really do miss my country so much 🥺

Šį kartą susitikome rytinei, gana chaotiškai kavai Taste Map, o tada greitai prasiejome link Tauro kalno, kur atsiveria tas fantastiškas vaizdas į Vilniaus stogus.

Ir gal būtent dėl tokių akimirkų aš taip pasiilgstu Vilniaus. Pažįstamų gatvelių, kalbos paprastumo, kokybės .. ir to jausmo, kai esi namuose. 🤍

Gothenburg City Hall wedding, a few happy tears, lots of hugs and an unexpected surprise waiting outside. 🤍

Alina and Robin had their closest family and friends by their side as they arrived at the city hall on a gloomy Saturday in May. There was that lovely sense of anticipation as everyone greeted each other and waited for the couple before heading inside for the ceremony.

The ceremony itself was wonderfully short. In Sweden, the legal paperwork is usually taken care of beforehand, so there is no signing documents afterwards. A few words, the rings, and suddenly, you’re married! 🥹

But the celebrations were only getting started. As Alina and Robin walked back outside, a few more friends were waiting for them with a beautiful poster and lots of happy faces. There were hugs, laughter and plenty of surprise, making these some of my favourite moments to photograph because you can never quite plan reactions like these.

From there, we walked towards Trädgårdsföreningen, giving the newlyweds a little time to slow down and enjoy their first moments as a married couple. We wandered through the park, took some relaxed wedding portraits and enjoyed a quieter part of the day before they headed off to celebrate with their family and friends.

Thank you, Alina and Robin, for letting me be part of your Gothenburg City Hall wedding. It was such a lovely day to document. 🤍

Bröllop på Göteborgs rådhus, några glädjetårar, massor av kramar och en oväntad överraskning som väntade utanför. 🤍

Alina och Robin firade sin stora dag tillsammans med sina närmaste vänner och familj. Efter den korta vigseln på Göteborgs rådhus väntade ännu fler vänner utanför, redo att överraska de nygifta med en fin skylt och massor av kärlek.

Sedan promenerade vi vidare till Trädgårdsföreningen för några avslappnade bröllopsporträtt och en lugn stund för Alina och Robin att njuta av sina första ögonblick som gifta.

Lithuanian wedding in Sweden at Mossbylund Hotell 🌸  Some wedding days stay with you long after you’ve put the camera down. This was one of them. 🤍

Ieva and Eitvidas’ wedding in Sweden took place at the beautiful Mossbylund Hotell in Skivarp, Skåne. Surrounded by peaceful countryside, soft light and the serene atmosphere of the Swedish coast, the setting felt so intimate and calm. The kind of place where you can slow down and really be present with the people you love.

Their closest friends and family had travelled from Lithuania to celebrate with them, and you could feel how much this day meant to everyone.

But what truly touched me was their ceremony. Their officiant was a dear friend, and the words spoken during the ceremony came from such a genuine place of love and understanding. And then came the vows.

I photograph a lot of weddings, and believe me, after so many years of photographing weddings, it is not that easy to catch me off guard and make me emotional 🥺

But this time, I was truly touched. Maybe it was because the vows were spoken in Lithuanian, my own language. Maybe it was the atmosphere. Maybe it was simply the way Ieva and Eitvidas spoke about each other, with so much love, tenderness and honesty.

Congratulations, Ieva and Eitvidas. You two look truly, truly in love. 🤍

Secret engagement in Copenhagen 🤍

They travelled all the way from Australia for a European adventure. Somewhere along the way, Huw decided Copenhagen would be the place to ask one very important question. 💍

We met in the Royal Library Garden late in the evening, just as the city was starting to quiet down and the light was at its best. Safe to say, she had no idea what was about to happen… and of course, she said yes. 🥹✨

Afterwards, we wandered through the garden with no real plan. They had told me they weren’t looking for anything too posed, and that suited me perfectly. We walked, ran, danced, laughed, and the camera quietly came along too. Those are often the moments that feel the most like them. 📷🤍

Looking back at these photos still makes me smile. It’s always such a privilege to witness the beginning of a new chapter, especially when it starts on the other side of the world.

Thank you both for trusting me with your surprise Denmark engagement. Wishing you a lifetime of adventures together. 🥂🌿

About secret proposals in Copenhagen…

One thing I’ll never get tired of? Photographing proposals. 🥹💍

Every time I’m walking to the location, camera in hand, I still get excited. I know what’s about to happen, but I never know exactly how it’s going to unfold. And that’s what makes every proposal so special.

Over the years, I’ve learned that timing is everything. Some of the most popular proposal spots in Copenhagen, like King’s Garden, the Round Tower, Christiansborg Palace, Nyhavn, and the Opera House, can actually feel surprisingly intimate when you know the right time to be there. Even within the same location, there’s almost always a quieter corner waiting to be found. 🤍

I also love being part of the planning process. From helping choose the perfect spot to making sure everything runs smoothly, it’s so much fun watching an idea slowly turn into a memory they’ll never forget.

And then… the reaction. 🥹 Every single one is different. Some laugh, some cry, some are completely speechless. Those first few seconds after the “yes” are always my favorite.

Being a proposal photographer in Copenhagen has made me appreciate how many different ways people show love. No two proposals are ever the same, and I hope they never are. That’s exactly what keeps this job so exciting. 🤍✨

Vacation photoshoot in Copenhagen with A + P 🌿

Not every day I get to meet a couple road tripping through Denmark all the way from Slovakia 🤍

Aliona and Petro came to Copenhagen for a spring road trip and booked a vacation and pregnancy session at the Royal Library Garden. We met early in the morning, which turned out to be the right call. The garden was quiet, the light was soft, and we had the place pretty much to ourselves.

We spent a good half hour just wandering around and finding the quieter corners of the garden. It is one of those spots that keeps surprising you, especially in spring. 🥹

These two were absolutely brilliant to spend the morning with. Easy, relaxed, and so happy together.

Engagement session at Rosenborg Castle, Copenhagen 🌸 
Late April in Copenhagen and Kongens Have is absolutely covered in blossom. If you have never been, this is the time to come.

Michael and Emily flew in from the States and we met early in the morning, just as the garden was waking up. Barely anyone around, which is exactly what you want. We did a little photowalk through the park and honestly the whole thing felt very relaxed and natural from the start. 
The real highlight was this beautiful white blossom tree just in front of Rosenborg Castle. We kept coming back to it and I can see why. The castle behind them, petals everywhere, that gorgeous soft morning light. It was just one of those spots.
So lovely to have met these two and to have them trust me with their engagement session here in Copenhagen. Hugs to you both all the way to the States! 🇺🇸

Belle and Denge’s Wedding Day in Helsingør 🤍

I could talk about this wedding forever, and what you are seeing here is honestly just a tiny piece of their day.

Belle and Denge are a sapphic couple from Manila in the Philippines, and their story is one of those that just stops you in your tracks. They met in October 2019, agreed to be introduced without knowing each other’s name, what the other looked like, or even a social media account. They just left it up to fate. Six weekend dates later, they were inseparable. A lockdown, 13 cats, one dog, and seven years on, they are married 🥹

LGBTQ marriage is not yet legal in the Philippines, so they did what any couple with a good wifi connection and a sense of adventure would do. They googled it, found Denmark on the list, and booked a flight to Helsingør 🌿

As Belle and Denge said themselves, a wedding is once in a lifetime, so why not spend the whole day making it count? And with an attire like theirs, honestly every single minute in front of the camera was completely worth it. Some couples just arrive already looking like a shoot 💛

They brought their closest family members, turned the whole thing into a full day feast, and we ended up finishing the evening at Helsingør train station near their dinner spot, Restaurant Strejf🚉 Which sounds unexpected, I know. But when the station gets quiet in the evening, the light does something really special in there. Some of my favourite frames from the entire day came from that platform.

If you ever thought a town hall wedding means keeping things plain, Belle and Denge are proof that it can be just as luxurious and considered as any big celebration. Thank you girls, and thank you to the whole team you brought with you 🌿🤍

Wedding in Aarhus at the City Hall 🤍 
I do not make it to Aarhus all that often compared to other town halls in Denmark, but every single time I do, I come back with some of my favourite work ever 📷 Maybe it is just the right city. There is something about it that makes small, intimate weddings feel exactly as they should, especially on film. 
Marina and Konstantin met here as students, so when they decided to elope, coming back to Aarhus seemed like the right option 🥹 They travelled all the way from the UK, brought their closest friends, and kept the whole day beautifully simple. Aarhus City Hall is such a gorgeous spot for a ceremony, and honestly the whole city just sets the mood perfectly for analogue film photography. 
Afterwards their friends pulled out soap bubbles and that is when things got really fun 🫧 Some of the best candid moments come from the simplest ideas, and film just captures that warmth in a way that is hard to put into words. We then took a short stroll over to Møllestien for a few more portraits. Cobblestones, colourful houses, that lovely soft light. Everything you could want for a film photographer 🌿 
If you are planning something small and meaningful, this is your reminder that you do not need a big wedding to have the most beautiful day. Sometimes the most cherished moments happen with just the people who matter most around you 💛

A Secret Proposal at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Denmark 🇩🇰

Sometimes couples want their proposal to happen somewhere a little outside the city, and Louisiana Museum of Modern Art is one of those places that keeps coming back as a favourite. It is a busy museum, but knowing where to be and when makes it perfectly possible to find a quiet corner for a truly private moment. As a proposal and engagement photographer in Denmark, Louisiana is one of those locations I always enjoy returning to!❤️

Yin and Shi got engaged at the end of their Denmark trip, just before heading to Bergen for the next leg of their travels 🌍 Both passionate about design, choosing Louisiana as their secret proposal and engagement destination felt like a natural fit. It was personal, beautiful, and completely them. 
They had a quiet moment together on the bridge before moving through the surrounding areas for a few newly engaged photos. I loved the calm, unhurried energy between them throughout the whole session. That kind of intimacy is honestly what I am here for, and this Singaporean couple had it in abundance! 🤍
