The morning of the wedding, and I were chatting with T (the bride) about the day’s inspiration shots. Mid-conversation, she casually mentioned she’d love to capture a shot like that scene from one of her favorite movies — a cinematic frame full of romance, movement, and magic. We both thought, “Let’s go for it! We’ll make it happen at the reception afterparty.”

Fast forward to the afterparty itself. I was packing up, my mind already winding down for the night. Then Nomad nudged me, “Hey, what about that movie shot?” For a second, I totally blanked. “What movie shot?” He grinned, “You know, the frame she wanted.”

It hit me! But by now, T and her groom were out on the dance floor, fully lost in the celebration. I hesitated. Should I really unpack my camera and jump in?

After a quick second of doubt, I decided to go for it. I grabbed my camera again, and Nomad was all set to help with the lighting. I went up to the couple and asked, “How about one last shot on the dance floor?” T’s eyes lit up instantly, as if she knew exactly what I had in mind. She smiled and said, “Absolutely!”

So here it is, that one last magical frame from their night ✨
