I am Denis Roschlau. I bought my first digital camera back in flight school.

Well, i guess the name of my site might have given this away already…

I was born in 1979, grew up in Minden, a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. After school i trained to be a pilot and lived in Bremen for around two years, before i finally moved to Munich, Bavaria (just south of Germany :-)) in 2003, where i am living with my wife, happily ever after. While i started out with aviation pho

tography, it wasn´t long until i went to South Africa for the first time and was hooked on nature and wildlife photography instantly. Altough my photography isn´t limited to african subjects, i keep returning to southern africa (South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zambia so far), as often as i possibly can. I shoot with Nikon gear, currently a D4s and various Nikon lenses, of course.
