KARLSRUHE TIVOLI

Two afternoons spent at Tivoli, capturing Stadtbahn trains as they ply Line 6 (Tivoli - Arbeitsagentur) along with several NET2012 sets plying Line 3 (Rintheim - Daxlanden/Rappenwört).

TAG DER SCHIENE 2026

A few photos I've snapped during the Tag der Schiene in Karlsruhe last 19 September 2026. It's cool to see Cars 552 and 502 hitting the rails again while shuttling passengers between Tullastraße and Hauptbahnhof. Until the next year's Tag der Schiene, see you soon!

KARLSRUHE ARBEITSAGENTUR

A little bit of tram-train spotting at Karlsruhe Arbeitsagentur, which for now is served by Line 6 plying from Tivoli via Hauptbahnhof Vorplatz to Arbeitsagentur, as the portion nearby is closed to rail traffic.

CAR 338

Car 338 on her way to Rheinbergstraße via Hauptbahnhof. At that time of the photo, the line towards Daxlanden/Rappenwört is under an extensive renovation and upgrade, and has been reopened last November 2025.
