140 traditional shepherd huts scattered across a plateau in the Slovenian Alps. 🏔️

Welcome to Velika Planina, one of Europe’s largest shepherd settlements, where herders still bring their cattle to the mountain pastures during summer.

Walking between the wooden huts, green meadows and surrounding peaks makes this one of the most unique places to experience in Slovenia. 🇸🇮

Kefalonia felt like a more authentic side of Greece, away from the crowds, yet incredibly diverse. 🇬🇷

Slow mornings, turquoise coves, little mountain villages and some of the clearest water I’ve seen in Greece. We also took a boat over to Ithaca, the legendary home of Odysseus and an island that feels like a journey back in time.

A week of island life I wouldn’t mind repeating. 🌊

A summer somewhere between fairytale towns and alpine lakes. 🇩🇪🏔️

From the medieval streets of Rothenburg ob der Tauber to the mountains of the Allgäu, Bavaria feels made for slow summer road trips, hidden lakes, green valleys and endless views along the way.

Germany can be pretty magical sometimes.

Some of the best adventures begin where the road ends.

This year, I traded the well-known spots for the quieter corners of north-eastern Spain, exploring a side of the country that still feels wonderfully untouched and far away from the usual tourist routes. 🇪🇸

Discovered the small village Ares del Maestrat hidden in the clouds. 😶‍🌫️

Heard the waves crashing at the coastal path of Cala canyet 🌊

The chapel Santuari de Rocacorba overlooks the scenery ⛪️

Blue hour at Tossa de Mar. 💡

Climbing the historical Walls of Albarracin 🏰

Intense sunset glow on the lake of Embalse de Canelles 🔥

Revisited the famous village perched dramatically on a narrow 50-meter-high basalt cliff: Castellfollit de la Roca🪨

A dream wedding location: Castell de Tamarit 💍

Looks like table mountain but it’s the Les Guilleries-Collsacabra massif. 🥾

The Baltic States are easy to overlook on the map, but they might just be one of Europe’s most underrated summer destinations. 🇱🇻

Latvia was the perfect mix of vibrant cities, wild nature and a seemingly endless Baltic coastline.

A few places worth saving:

📍 Riga: historic streets, beautiful architecture & views across the Daugava
📍 Liepāja: wooden houses, the impressive Great Amber Concert Hall & Baltic Sea vibes
📍 Kurzeme Coast: empty beaches, pine forests & beautiful lighthouses
📍 Latvian countryside: quiet rivers, old manor houses and plenty of hidden corners

For me, Latvia is best explored on a road trip, giving you the freedom to stop wherever looks interesting along the way.
