On 17 April at 6pm UK time(BST), 1854 Presents: Peter Funch. Renowned Danish photojournalist Peter Funch combines shrewd social commentary with a distinct cinematic style. Currently residing in Berlin, Peter works internationally across books, exhibitions, editorial and advertising, combining technical perfection with Nordic calmness and a touch of dry humour. His work can be found in public collections including V&A (London), Royal Library National Collection Of Photography (Copenhagen) and New York Public Library.

In this exclusive talk, Peter will unpack his approach to working within restrictions — from his celebrated past projects such as 42nd & Vanderbilt and Babel Tales to ongoing endeavours of domestic still lifes and capturing human behavior in public.
