It's been 3 good months since this small tour with Alkaloid - and busy quarters with work! It was a very interesting week-end getting to shoot my absolute favourite band around Karlsruhe, Zürich and Landshut, earlier this year - starting photography seriously in 2025 served well 🙂

March was also the 11th anniversary of their debut album, The Malkuth Grimoire, which was actually my introduction to them with Cthulhu in 2021 🐙

Altogether this was a full-circle moment - grateful for their music, camaraderie, and the chance to finally put my camera on them. Here's to more! 🤘

2026 concert year started right 📸🐙

Thanks to Alkaloid for having me behind the lens throughout the week-end!

Btw, if you like excellent Progressive Death Metal, go check them out - their new live album, Bach Out Of Bounds, is out today. Imagine Bach, but in Prog Death, and with orchestra - they definitely live up to being Metal’s maddest scientists 🤘

Also go check their individual work - Florian Magnus Maier - Morean, Linus Klausenitzer, Hannes Grossmann / Mordor Sounds, Max Blok and Justin Hombach. A mention for Christian Muenzner who wrote material on the previous albums.

P.S. It was such a busy week-end that the closest of having a photo together was the BTS of me taking a group photo 😂
