Today's the first of the three release dates! 🥹📚

The Winter Cabin Cookbook is officially out in the UK and Europe, making this the very first release for the book!

After years of dreaming, cooking, travelling and bringing this project to life with Ewen Bell / PFT it's pretty surreal to know it's now making its way onto bookshelves.

If you're in the UK or Europe and spot it out in the wild, please send me a photo! I'd absolutely love to see it sitting on a bookstore shelf. And if you've already got your hands on a copy, I'd love to hear from you, too. ❤️

With The Winter Cabin Cookbook arriving in the UK and Europe in just two weeks, and the US and Canada soon after, it’s time to share a little more of the places behind the book.

Eight years ago, Ewen and I started cooking our way through cabins across Iceland, Norway and Sweden. These are the places where we created the book, along with a few photos that didn’t quite make the final cut.

Story time. ❄️📖

If you've ever wondered how The Winter Cabin Cookbook came to be, why it's taken nearly 10 years to get here, and why I've been a little quieter than usual since December last year... here's the story.

What started with an ice cream freezer full of Arctic crab legs and a love of good food became the dream of a cookbook. Over the years, the idea grew, the list of cabins got longer, we met so many wonderful people and learned a lot along the way.

There have been plenty of twists, changes and a lot of work behind the scenes to get it to where it is today.

So, here's the story of how we went from cabin to cookbook, and why I've been keeping this one a little more under wraps since December. 🤍

I think my cooking mojo has mostly returned. I'm on a quest to cook through my pantry and freezer stash, and I'm constantly craving thick chocolate chip cookies this winter. But I haven't had a chance to make my own yet (probably a good thing!)

But please enjoy this photo from the archives, until I can actually find time to create my own content again!

Taking things a bit slow after dealing with a few massive weeks there of non-stop work. I wasn't looking after my body and it's taking me a little while to recover, but I'm slowly getting back the mojo, trying to get some sunshine and finding joy in the little things.

Just a few moments taken on my phone of the week that was!
