Photography is a complex universe - just like we humans are.

So complex, so exciting, so wonderfully multilayered. And weddings are no different.

They’re not candid OR posed. Not documentary OR editorial. There’s space for all of it - for the completely unobserved moments, the gently prompted ones, and yes, even the properly posed ones.

Because every wedding has its own flow, every couple has their own energy, and every moment asks for something different.

Someone recently showed me a post with a similar concept (if I can remember correctly) and I got SOOOO inspired by it - but of course I never actually got the original post sent to me. 🥲 So if anyone recognises the wonderful human behind the original idea, PLEASE tag them so I can give them the credit they deserve. ❤️

Anyway… here’s my little take on candid vs. posed.
