Recently, on the usual dog walk, some massive godrays suddenly appeared. Fortunately, I had brought the camera with me that day. I took some shots handheld with exposure bracketing. Affinity did a fantastic job with aligning the images and get the best part of the exposure from each image. It was still a bit tricky to get the final image look like this. Baxter looks like a movie star, what is the title of the movie?

From my hike with a foto friend last thursday. A beautiful swiss lake with the Churfirsten in the background, mirroring in the lake with the doomsday sky. Very dramatic conditions, I love this very simple shot

Finally decided to go out and try my Sigma 24mm f/1.4 on the milky way last friday night. The conditions were not optimal, there was some haze and some light pollution from the ground. I am still excited about the result though. Imagine what I can do under better conditions 😮. 20 Images of 10 seconds each with ISO 1000, stacked with Sequator and post processed with Affinity Photo.
