I get asked all of the time “What happens if they p**p!?” Well, the answer is : nothing (ish) It happens ALLLLLLL the time. I am peed or p**ped on, 90% of the time. I’m working with a nakey baby. It’s going to happen. But if they p**p, and are chill, I just keep going. I get the shot. Then I safely, and calmly wipe them up.
Look how sleepy and calm this baby is after she got out what she needed to. Everything baby touches with their skin is washable. And I let the parents know, incase they are tracking their babies output.
And I have seen it all, washed it all, and gone home with baby messes all over my clothes. No biggie. S**t happens 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

I have met so many new parents over the last decade plus of doing this job. But sometimes you leave with such a warm fuzzy feeling from the parents. The way they look at each other. The way their love just radiates off of their new baby. The way you know that this little child is going to be loved so unconditionally, that even tho they are strangers , it makes your heart feel so full and happy. 😊 I love those days. 💙
