How was this almost 5 months ago but also pretty sure just last week?! 😅 busy season is doing what busy season does and time is flying.
I feel like this has been the best season yet and I’m so excited for what’s to come (even though in just over 2 months, the world will look like this again).

If I could ask you to do just one thing for your family session, it would be this:

Play. Play in your backyard where the kids are happy and comfortable. Let them run barefoot in the grass and chase them with reckless abandon until you all end up in a pile, grass-stained and giggling. Let them play with the hose and over-water your plants and admire the bugs and the worms and the birds. Toss them high in the air and catch them safely in your arms and snuggle for a quiet moment and remember how little they are, right now.

Back in office after a lovely horse week!
If you’re waiting to hear from me, today is the day!

A couple of notes if youre looking to book photos this year:
- August is fully booked, I simply can’t take on anything else 🤍
- I have a few spots *this week* for wildflower sessions here in our back field
- I’m booking into September & October currently

Summer Booking Update

Hey pals! Just a little update for you on availability for sessions this summer. I’m currently booking well into June/July - May is fully booked.

At this time, I’m working on finding space for some Motherhood Minis, but the reality is that they’re entirely dictated by spring weather and have either been gorgeous or rained out 😅. I WILL be offering minis this summer, but in the new format that I tried out last year (evenings over the course of a week, no more one-day blitzes for me). If I do find space for motherhood minis, they will likely be after Mother’s Day (for better weather).

At this time, my dates for sessions over the summer are a little bit up in the air while I wait for my son’s sport schedule (iykyk). I’m happy to pencil in dates and we can figure out exact ones closer to ☺️

Typically, Saturday’s are not available for sessions as they are held for weddings. If a Saturday remains open, they’ll be available for booking ~6 weeks out.

Last year I took on significantly less than in years prior, and it was very much the right decision for myself creatively as well as for our family. I’ll be following suit this year, for the benefit of everyone ☺️.
