Chloe + Mitch: Family Property on Pender Island
There’s something incredibly special about photographing a bride in a place that holds generations of family memories.
This portrait was taken at the bride’s family property on Pender Island, in her grandmother’s room. When we learned the significance of the space, we knew it was important to slow down and photograph her there, not simply as a bride, but as a granddaughter, surrounded by a piece of her family’s history.
For us, wedding photography is about more than beautiful portraits. It’s about noticing the places, details, and quiet moments that carry meaning. Years from now, we hope this photograph brings her right back to this room, this island, and the feeling of being surrounded by the women and memories who came before her. 🤍
Some photographs are beautiful. Others become part of your family story.
