Apparently it’s time to talk about Santa. 🎅

I’ve already had people asking when the Santa dates and booking link would be available, so I figured I’d make everyone’s future December selves a little happier and get them up now.

Santa Sessions at Samantha Lynne Studios are officially open for booking!

Booking early doesn’t mean you need to have Christmas figured out already. It just means you can grab the date and time that works best for your family now, cross one thing off the holiday list, and deal with outfits, haircuts and convincing the kids to cooperate later.

When you open the booking calendar, keep clicking ahead to the next available appointment dates to find the Santa session that works best for you and yours. Santa is only in the studio on select dates, so those are the dates that will appear as available.

Plans change — especially when kids are involved. If you need to reschedule, I’ll do my best to move your session within Santa’s remaining availability. I just ask for at least one week’s notice whenever possible so I have a chance to offer your original spot to another family.

Booking early = best choice of Santa times now and one less thing to scramble for when Christmas suddenly goes from “months away” to “HOW IS IT DECEMBER ALREADY?”

BACK TO SCHOOL PHOTOS THAT GIVE BACK

This September, I’m offering Back to School sessions with 25% of every booking donated directly to Mission Hill Elementary PAC.

$60 | 3 edited photos of your choice
$15 from every session goes directly to the PAC

Book and pay now to secure your session, then choose your date and time later once everyone is back into the school routine and summer life has settled down.

Sessions can take place outside Mission Hill Elementary after school hours, or in my Vernon studio.

Siblings and/or family are welcome to join in for one photo. Additional photos may also be available for purchase afterward, depending on how many great shots we capture during your session.

The wildflowers are showing off right now, and this is one of those little windows of the season that doesn’t last nearly long enough.

I’ve found a beautiful spot close to town in Vernon with both purple and yellow wildflowers currently in bloom, so I’m opening up a limited number of Wildflower Mini Sessions while they’re at their best.

These are perfect for updated family photos, couples, kids, maternity, grads, or even just because you’d rather have something a little more interesting than the usual summer backdrop.

Includes 5 professionally edited photos of your choice.

The flowers decide how long these sessions are available, so once they’re finished blooming, these minis are finished too.

FALL MINI SESSION SALE

Fall always seems to come and go way too quickly around here, so while the colours are good, let’s take advantage of them.

For a limited time, I’m offering fall mini sessions for $99 in Vernon, which includes 5 professionally edited photos of your choice.

If you’d rather have me come to you in one of the surrounding towns or cities, sessions are $125 for 5 photos of your choice.

Sessions must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure the sale price, but you do not have to choose your date yet. Your session can take place anytime during the fall season, and we can pick a date later once we see when and where the fall colours are looking their best.

Families, couples, kids, pets — whatever you’d like to update this fall.

The only catch: when the leaves are gone, so is this sale.

OKANAGAN — it’s officially time to start thinking about FALL PHOTOS! 🍂

I know, I know… summer isn’t over yet. But somehow we’ve reached that point in the year where back-to-school, crunchy leaves, pumpkin patches, Halloween AND Santa are all sneaking up on us at once. 😂

And if photos are on your list this year, now is the time to get on my books. ❤️

📚 BACK-TO-SCHOOL PHOTOS
Skip the rushed school-photo smile and let’s capture some actual personality! These can be done in studio, outdoors, at your child’s school, or somewhere completely different. Siblings and family can absolutely jump in for a few, too.

You do NOT need to choose your date just yet! If you know you want back-to-school photos this year, you can book your session now, secure your spot, and we can figure out the perfect date a little later.

🍁 FALL FAMILY PHOTOS
Warm light, changing leaves, cozy outfits and those gorgeous Okanagan colours make fall one of my absolute favourite times of year to photograph families.

Fall sessions are already starting to fill my calendar, especially those beautiful evening and weekend spots. If fall family photos are on your list this year, please don't wait too long to get in touch—these sessions do need to be booked into an actual date on my calendar.

YES, these are coming back too! 🧡

I’ll once again have access to a private pumpkin patch for sessions, which means we can create those gorgeous fall pumpkin-patch photos without trying to work around crowds of people in the background.

These are perfect for families, kids, couples, maternity photos—or anyone who just wants that classic fall look. 🍂🎃

Cute, creepy, spooky, dramatic or completely over-the-top… I am here for ALL of it. Halloween gives us an excuse to get creative, and these definitely don't have to look like your typical family photos.

Halloween sessions are also already being booked, so these are another one you'll want to grab a date for sooner rather than later!

🎅 AND YES… SANTA PHOTOS!
It feels ridiculously early to say it, but Christmas will be here before we know it! Santa sessions will be returning this year, and you can book now without having to decide on your exact date yet. Get yourself on my Santa list and we'll sort out the date once the schedule is finalized. ❤️

Life has a funny way of reminding you that self-employment can be unpredictable.

Due to an unexpected reduction in the child support I receive, things are a little tighter than usual over here. As always, I’ll keep working hard to provide for my boys and continue doing what I love—capturing your special moments.
