I said I wouldn’t cry making this post… gosh darn it, I’m crying! 🥹🤍

Some weddings hit a little closer to home, and this was one of them.

I’ve known S for most of my life. I’ve had the privilege of watching him grow from a little boy into the incredible father, partner, and man he is today. Seeing him find T, the woman who so perfectly complements him and loves him so wholeheartedly, has been nothing short of beautiful.

From the moment the day began, there was an overwhelming sense of love surrounding these two. There were tears, laughter, happy dances, heartfelt embraces, and so many moments that reminded everyone there what this day was truly about: two amazing people choosing each other, surrounded by those who love them most.

One of my favorite moments was watching T walk down the aisle and seeing S point out to their son their beautiful mama. It was a day filled with unforgettable moments, honoring those who were there in spirit and celebrating the family they’ve built together.

S + T, thank you for trusting me to capture these memories for you. I couldn’t be happier for your beautiful family.
Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and dancing through every season together.

Sorry not sorry if you made it this far and are crying too. 🤍

Hey there! I hope you have an amazing weekend!

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately.
Behind the scenes I'm wrapping up grad season, jumping into wedding season, and celebrating two of my kiddos’ birthdays (with one more coming up next weekend!). Life has been keeping me busy in the best possible ways.

Thank you to all the incredible grads, families, businesses, and organizations who have kept me chasing my tail through May and June. I’m so grateful to be trusted to capture your moments and milestones. I’ll get around to sharing more photos soon!

Mud puddles getting deeper by the minute.
Bubbles floating through the air.
Toy excavators stuck in muk.

And a golden retriever who thought the puddle was made just for him.

Nothing clean.
Nothing planned.

Just kids being little, a dog running wild, and one of those evenings nobody wanted to end...

Hello, grad season.

Smiles.
Suits and boots.
Cheers and beers.

Watching you relax, have fun, and just enjoy the experience with your people is always my favourite part.

See you next week.

Some afternoons feel like childhood trying to stay a little longer.

Sneakers squeaking on greenhouse floors,
bubbles drifting through warm air,
and Rod spraying the hose like he was sprinkling a little magic over the whole greenhouse.

But these little in-between moments…
these are the ones that stay.

A little wild.
A little noisy.
A little magical.

A huge thank you to Rod's Greenhouse for always opening your space to me with so much kindness and trust. Without your beautiful greenhouse, these Mother’s Day sessions simply wouldn’t feel the same. The warmth, the flowers, the light, and the atmosphere you’ve created make these moments come to life in the sweetest way.

Childhood is not clean hands and perfectly folded memories.

It is mud puddles and toy tractors.
It is sunlight through tangled hair and little voices calling for you from the other side of the yard.
It is the way they still run back to your arms without hesitation.

The beautiful thing is that one day, without warning, they stop being this little.

So for now, let them play. Let them get messy. Let the story unfold exactly as it is.

Spring doesn’t arrive all at once out here.

The fields are still quiet,
the air still carries a bit of winter…
but you can feel it coming.

It’s in the longer evenings,
the softened light,
the way everything starts to shift just a little.

Not quite seeding.
Not quite winter.

Just that in-between… where everything is about to begin again.

She knows each one of them.
Not just by how they look, but by the sound of their hooves as they come in.

Spring mornings like this feel different;
quiet, steady, unrushed.

Some moments don’t need direction.
You just give them a little space… and they find their way.
